We are putting on show August 31st at the Venue with Last Man Out and Whiplash 2 very good bands. If you don't know how to get to the venue or have any questions about the show E-mail us. In other news we are planning to play more shows that ARE NOT in Valpo. If anyone can help us with shows in other areas like Illinois or more cities in Northern to mid Indiana it would be much appreciated. Also look for us sometime in the future on channel 43 on a local music show. The show goes out to 20,000 people. If you get this channel and have seen the show and tell us where you live because none of us get the show or know where to see it. Thank you and please come support some local bands August 31st at the Venue.
July 25, 2001:
Before I talk about Sputnik, one thing: SHOW ON AUGUST 4th! CHECK SHOWS PAGE! GO! yeah! So thanks to everybody who went on our little roadtrip; it was a lot of fun: Ben Cannon and his girlfriend (sorry can't remember name), Lindsey and her cousin, and Jen Grzanka. They waited hours for us to take the stage cause we signed up late. The 10 people who saw us really liked it (check the guestbook!). Oh, and thanks to those people too: the 5 people that were in the front, and of course Mary, who BTW put on a helluva show during open mic night. You guys rule! We sold all our CDs we brought (3) and those 5 kids had us sign their CD. Hopefully we'll get a real, paying show, with really good bands playing with us. DA Manager out.
July 19th, 2001:
Two new things: One, the recording of "Little Things," which we for some reason didn't post earlier, is up in the recordings. Get it here. Also, the bigger news is that we are playing open mic at Sputnik Coffee House in Illinois on Wednesday, July 25. Come support the band, because the more fans we get out there, the better chance we have of getting a high-profile show there later. (see this will be kind of an audition and fans make it look like we are good ;) You can get directions here. The show will begin at 8pm. uh, a few people will be making a road trip of it. Joe, i'm looking at you...
June 27th, 2001:
There is a short notice show this Friday at the Venue. It starts at 6:00. For those of you who don't know where the Venue is, you can find out by E-mailing them at valpovenue@juno.com. The Bands we are playing with are Me not Caring, Audible Campaign, and The Big Red Music Box. We have some shows in August, which I know is a long time from now, but it's good to tell you all about them. For more info see the "shows" page. Later
June 21, 2001:
New on the site: The new logo image; there's more "barn porn" in the images section. Speaking of the barn, the biggest update is in the music section: a new recording of "I Miss You" from Illuminated Records - not available on the CD! It's a new uh, "unplugged" uh,remix of this song. Listen to Joe and Scott chatter while we're trying to record! Listen to Mike goof off in the booth and make Garrett mad! Mako Reactor's back in the barn, and more homespun recordings will come out of it. Also, lyrics have been added for "Nick Hopkins" and "I Miss You," which are probably wrong.

We would like to thank all the people who came out to see us at Luke's open house, and at Mark Cooper's party. We had our first show at The Venue this weekend, at it was hella cool. We are currently working on getting many more shows there. Also, once again Suburban Roots Festival was CANCELED. It will be rescheduled for sometime in September. As of now our next show is August 4th at The Venue, but that will change as soon as we look into more dates in July. Until next time, see yas.Well, it's been another while, like it always is. Garrett finally got me to update the site so ta dah! We've got quite a few shows this month. First off, is Lucas's open house! Thats right folks, he's out of high school and ready to take on the world. Then we have a house party at Mark C***er's house. Our next show that you can all come to is the 16th at a new club, meant specifically for underground music. It's call the Venue, and it's right down the street from the Night Owl. Then, for those of you who didn't know, or don't care, Suburban Roots was moved to June 30th at the same place, the Crown Point Skate Park. For more information on shows, see the "shows" page. So until next time, stay cool and try to keep your snakes in their cages.
May 23rd, 2001: Its been a while since I have updated the site, and I'm sorry. I've been pretty busy, but anywho... We have 2 shows this weekend. One of them is the Suburban Roots festival in Crown Point. This show is FREE, yes FREE, so if you want to go then come see us at 6:00 p.m. on the main stage at the Crown Point Skate Park. Our other show, is private. Its at Marc's house so if you want to go, you have to kinda know us personally. In regard to shows in June, we haven't planned anything yet, if anyone would like to put on a show or invite us to play we would be more than willing. It can be anywhere, and for any price. We will play for pop-tarts if we have to. Also, I would like to remind you all that if you want to get a copy of our C.D. you can e-mail me and I'll send you one. I have added one more link to the site too.
April 29th, 2001:
Last nights show at Machinist Hall was great, we would like to thank all the bands, and people who came. It kinda sucked sitting around waiting for LMO to get there, but hey the were great when they played. Our next show is May 11th, at our friend, Justin Higgins back yard. It's a benefit concert for Lindsey Woodworth, A graduate of Boone Grove High School, and friend of ours. She has cancer, and the money made from the show will help pay for the treatment she has gotten. It would be great to see tons of people there supporting the cause. If you would like directions then E-mail me at M503regan@aol.com. Keep checking in for more updates, and sign the guestbook.
